Family Service Counselor
Role and Responsibilities
Performs sales activities for the Mt. Elliott Cemetery Association (All Saints Cemetery). Promotes sales by contacting and developing present and prospective clients.
Develops and compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads
Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential clients by telephone / presentations to qualify leads and sell cemetery services
Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders form.
Prepares forms or agreements to complete sales, reports and general paperwork
Build, develops and maintains relationships with potential clients
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products and services. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional Notes
Self-motivated candidates must be able to demonstrated proven sales experience including lead generation, ability in providing qualified leads, cold calling capabilities, and skilled to close the sale. Strong written and oral communication with the ability to present to large public groups. Professionally committed, competitive spirit, team player.
