We’re planning a Silent Auction.
Guests to the event have the opportunity to stroll through items on display and, using bidder numbers, bid on items up to 7:00 p.m. At that time the auction closes and the highest qualified bid wins the items.

Donate a Prize, Giveaway or Auction Item
• Generate some low cost exposure and publicity for your company
• Target the audience—think about the broadest segment of the Beer University Crowd. What can you donate that will intrigue most of them? The goal is to get them to bid!
If your company’s product has a narrow target audience, consider donating logo items like coffee mugs and match them with some gourmet coffee beans and chocolates.
Utilize your donation to emphasize one of your services or value propositions. Donate a gift certificate for a local spa or salon treatment.
Add a note card or flyer that says, “Enjoy some time to relax, courtesy . . . (your company)” or tie in your company’s product—(eg: financial planning, insurance, legal, tax preparation) with the message that goes with a gift certificate to an area restaurant.
• Get them talking! With a little creativity, your auction item could be the buzz of the event.
The Chamber utilizes events like Beer University and the Silent Auction to fill the gap between annual dues revenue and the actual expenses. Your support by attending Beer University and/or donating a silent auction item increases our ability to develop and leverage shop local, community branding, leadership development and other Chamber initiatives.

Contact the Chamber or a member of the Beer University committee to donate an item. We can pick it up—or you can drop it off. All items must be physically at the Chamber offices no later than April 23rd in order to be included in the Auction.
