1.The Chamber now has a blog. http://clarkstonareachamber.blogspot.com/  in addition to Facebook and Twitter @CACOC.

2. Taste of Clarkston (click for photos of past events) planning is well underway. We need 300 volunteers to help set up, host and clean up this event. Volunteer shifts come in 2, 3 and 4 hour blocks. Check your mailing this month for a survey sheet to sign up and volunteer.

3. The EXPO committee is just getting up and running.  If you would like to help promote the EXPO email to volunteer!  EXPO Cmt. will meet Tues August 11, 2009 9:15 a.m. at the Chamber.

4. DID YOU KNOW You can participate as a sponsor or exhibitor at the BullsEye Small Business Conference  October 22, 2009?  Click on link for details. Definitely take advantage of the early bird registration rates!  And consider having an exhibit table or sponsoring this premier small business conference for North Oakland County!  (event hosted by Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce and Pontiac Regional Chamber of Commerce)

5. Traffic to the Chamber's website continues to grow.  Referrals from TWITTER have doubled June to July. Overall web traffic is up 11.5% from June.  We now have over 11,500 unique visits to our website each month.
