The Knitters Nest

The Knitters Nest was chosen because of their charity event Charitable Knitting Wednesdays.

The Knitters Nest is a new shop featuring quality yarns, needles, and patterns for knitting and crocheting , but that isn't all we do! We offer classes, workshops, and a place for, "Yarn People" to gather, share ideas, and support each other in our community . We are particularly proud to be supporting Oakland Integrated Health Care Network in Pontiac with hand knit/crochet baby hats . OIHCN is a non profit serving the under-served in Southeast Michigan. Hats are given to newborn babies as they leave the hospital. In addition, we offer a free place for charity knitters to gather on Wednesday mornings from 10a-12p.
