As the Executive Director, Jennifer oversees the daily operations of the organization; is responsible for the Chamber’s financial accounting systems, staffing, human resources, event development and management; also supports the efforts of the President and vision set by the Board of Directors.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts from Spring Arbor College, a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from Spring Harbor University, and Master of Business Administration from Oakland University. Jennifer is also a Certified Fundraising Executive, CFRE.
Jennifer started with the Chamber in 2022. She lives in Rochester Hills with her husband, two teenage sons, and three cats. An avid reader, she enjoys mysteries, biographies, and historical fiction.
As the Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce’s Assistant Executive Director, Kendal is primarily responsible for selling new memberships, as well as retaining the existing membership base. Her goal is to understand a member company’s needs related to chamber involvement so that they can gain the most value in membership and in turn, renew their annual membership and participate in more events.
Kendal started with the Chamber in 2019. She grew up in the Clarkston area and graduated from Northwood University with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Fashion Merchandising in 2017.
Fun Fact: Kendal collects presidentials pins! The oldest one is from the 1930's.
