Woman Business Leader of the Year

This award is dedicated to honor a woman who has shaped the success of her organization/business and demonstrated leadership, professional achievement, and contributed not only to her workplace, but also her community. The essence of this award is to discover and reward exceptional women for their leadership, mentoring skills, and/or ideas that stand out from their colleagues.

To nominate please list accomplishments completed by nominee in each of the following criteria:

Business Accomplishments

Nominee has demonstrated excellence, creativity, and/or initiative in her business or profession.

Leadership

Nominee will be rated on any of the following: personal accountability and results; mentoring or coaching others; impact on customer, client, and/or employee satisfaction; impact on the quality of services and/or products; or impact on the growth of business.

Community Involvement

Nominees will be considered for any local, state, national, or international level participation, including length of service and offices held in civic and service organizations such as charitable activities, business associations, etc.

Requirements

• Must be a female employee of member of the Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be established locally in the same business for at least 3 years
• May be self-nominated or nominated by another
• May be for-profit or non-profit businesses
• Must be active in day-to-day management of company

Woman Business Leader of the year will be recognized at our annual Women In Business luncheon.
