Oakland Mediation Center

Oakland Mediation Center (OMC) is proud to offer a wide variety of community-based services for youth and adults. Mediation Services includes but is not limited to, matters of all types such as small claims, landlord tenant, general civil, real-estate, divorce, parenting time, special education, elder and foster care. Our Legal Services department was created to serve individuals who do not qualify for free legal aid but cannot afford traditional legal representation. This program works on an income based sliding scale. OMC’s Education Services department offers training opportunities for professionals to gain communication, conflict resolution, and mediation skills while earning CEUs. We also partner with schools to provide youth programs such as Peers Making Peace, Restorative Practices, and Olweus Bullying Prevention.

As new members of the Clarkston Chamber of Commerce we have been quite impressed with the quantity and variety of opportunities to connect with other local businesses. Clarkston is a unique place with a great sense of community that we’re proud to be partner and grow with.
